Hi everyone,

In case you aren't already aware, we wanted to let you know that Alzheimer's Society has a Dementia Knowledge Centre (known as DKC). It's a really useful information service for people with an interest in dementia care and research.

The DKC collection includes published information (print, and electronic resources) covering medical information, health care, social care, housing, design, therapies, novels, personal accounts and much more.

Whilst the borrowing of items from the DKC is restricted to staff and volunteers, anyone with internet access can browse the DKC's online Dementia Catalogue. This is a unique library database containing thousands of records of published materials about all aspects of dementia care and research - including books, journal articles, websites and reports.

The team also takes external enquiries at dkc@alzheimers.org.uk if you'd like to get in touch.
