My TP friends
It has been 15 months, about 10 Letters, including one to the CEO of Bexley and the threat of going to the Ombudsman for Adult Social Care, all over a row about liability for a £9,672.00 bill.
All along they have held the line that we owe this money and all along I have refused to pay on the grounds we were not communicated correct information, given no alternative options, poorly informed generally or expected to accept the calculations without question. This incompetance and lack of transpaency was just not acceptable to me
We were threatened with Legal Action but I was resolute; this is LA and SS incompetence and I was prepared to have my day in Court to defend my Partner
Well: today we had a phone call and were advised a letter will be sent out, "Abating the Charge" in other words they are going to "write it off" HOORAY
