    Such a poignant post @Toony Oony. I'm glad your mum is being well look after and that she seems peaceful. Wishing you strength.

    Thinking of you at this difficult time. My dad is at this stage, few words, the odd smile and awake but just lying there for much of the time. As much as I dread the end I wish somehow that I knew when it would be!

    All my sympathy, and yes, be thankiful that your mum is comfortable. Keith was three weeks at this end stage and it is such a comfort to me that his death was a kind one, simply stopped breathing. with love, Geraldine aka kindred.
