My husband has just told me today that he has music constantly running through his head, so much so, that he can't concentrate on anything. I asked if it helped if he hummed along with them, but he says not.

I asked him how long this has been going on for, and he said for some time now. We saw the MH nurse last week, and he never mentioned it !

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what did you do about it.

Thanks, Bree

Hi,
Just a thought, is there a chance he could be suffering with Tinnutus? I looked at NHS.co.uk at the symptoms and repeated tunes is there..
Take care.

My thought was tinnitus too, or just the mind playing tricks of course, but either way I can understand how both would be totally distracting.

On the other hand my Mum has taken to humming.
In the bath, in bed, doing the dishes, when ever, where ever.
If you ask her what tune she is humming she says she doesn't know.

Thank you so much for your replies, we never thought of tinnitus. We will see the GP in that case.

On a lighter note, my granddaughter 7 years old had her school report, which said that she loved to sing in class, whatever the lesson !
