I have just read 'The longest goodbye (Nula Suchet). Although it was harrowing and difficult to read at times, it is so beautifully and compassionately written. A love story ravaged by the arrival of dementia. I cried as I read it and felt as if I walked alongside her through her journey. It will be a familiar story many of us.
