@canary so sorry to hear you are feeling like this. Until I’ve experienced it myself I could never have anticipated the toll this horrible disease takes on the mental health of carers....there are days I feel like a gibbering wreck. Hope that you can manage to see some light, lots of super support and advice on here, take care.
You are so right! Huge toll, largely compounded by the fact there is no escape. It is asking such a lot of a normally adjusted person to be imprisoned by what is to all intents and purposes madness. Most of us keep sane because aspects of our lives are under control and predictable. This helps us deal with life's chaos. But when we lose most aspects of our lives to the unpredictable it's going to be hard. I think us carers are downright AMAZING people. Kindred.
