Mum was sectioned a couple of months ago - at the time she was violent, delusional and not eating and drinking as she believed she was being poisioned.
She has been given anti pyscotic and anti depressant drugs and has calmed down quite a lot and is not so tearful. however, she still believes she's being poisioned and often throws away her food and drink. As a consequence she has lost a lot of weight but is given some sort of milk shake drink - which fortunately she loves.
