Hi all my B in law has N P H with dementia, at present he is in hospital after having a 3rd drain fitted, he has not responded to any of the treatments, the hospital are now looking to to discharge, he is 67 no longer able to walk has little use of his arms, incontinent, and memory failing fast,he is getting a funded care package, 2 carers 4 times a day, my sis would like some overnight care, do any of you know if the cost of home care exceeds the cost of nursing homes, could she be forced down that route???
