You are not alone with this Metal Health Act.

Like you I would not take things lying down. From my experience and information that I have received, the powers that Be and they are b*****y useless are interpreting this Mental Health Act AS THEY SEE FIT and not for the wellbeing of the patient. I have taken on the Local Authorities, local M.P. (who was so rude in her reply regarding A.D.) We have so much to deal with regarding this illness and they only put hurdles and hurdles in our way.
In my personal opinion, some group of inexperienced, over paid people have come up with a load of hogwash.
Good luck. Visit to House of Parliament in force might make then take notice or the European Courts just to protect our loved ones.
