wow just read right through that article and the sad thing is its happened all over the uk and no one takes any responsibility. the visiting rules seems like closing the door after the horse has bolted and should have been a lot sooner to wake up and see what was happening. problem being that as they shut their doors nobody knew what was happening behind those closed doors.

I think the sad thing is that social insisted he needed permanent residential support, but the care home seemed to lack the ability to provide the care required.

A feeling of Sadness beyond words. This is the reality we live in and nobody seems to care. Making money from people affected by dementia is the priority. To change the way we treat our elderly in this country will leave a massive hole in the pockets of the both the Private Health care companies and the pharmaceutical companies . It is not in the interests of the Wealthy (Worldwide) or the economy (Worldwide) to either find a cure or provide quality care.
