Hello forum. My Dad was diagnosed with vascular dementia several years ago and I am struggling with the later stages of dementia with him, my Mum's GP has just diagnosed her with some form of dementia as to which one I am unsure of at the moment. The first booklet I ordered is carers looking after yourself just going to read it after lunch.

Hello and welcome @BRC I’m sorry to hear that both your parents now have dementia, it’s hard enough with just one. Settle in and have a read, there’s tons of info here and on the Alzheimer’s Society site. Ask questions and feel free to vent whenever. The Alzheimer’s Society helpline is very helpful too.
