There is a new free online 7 week course Understanding Dementia (MOOC) useful for anyone who cares for someone with dementia or would like to know more about the illness

The Understanding Dementia MOOC is a 7-week FREE course that is open to everyone worldwide. If you have already enrolled then you can log in and enter the course via the same link.

It's based in Australia but I am sure most of the content is relevant to the UK and other countries.

I did this course a few years ago when my husband was still alive and I was in the midst of caring. I have nothing but praise for it. I think it is one of the best courses I have done and recommend it to anyone who may be considering it.
