Need respite for Sat night

Hi everyone

My mum has Alzheimers, and I look after her. However, this coming Saturday I have an engagement to attend and it's going to be a late night.

I'm looking for advice on what I can do, as my mum won't be at ease with me going out and leaving her on her own (also she needs assistance getting ready for bed).

I'm in the Slough area.

If there is no relative, friend or caring neighbour who can look after your mum this saturday evening, maybe you could contact a private nursing agency (which will of course charge for care) such as BNA or BUPA. I should think it might be difficult to find anyone else at short notice. Hope you find someone suitable and go out and have a good time!
