Dear all, I have just joined the forum and I would like to share with you my son Vittorio (9 years old) fundraising challenge. This year Vittorio has chosen to support the Alzheimer's Society, in memory of my grandmother Dede, and Mary's Meals, as a charity he learned to appreciate at his school.
His challenge is to climb the Petit Mont Blanc (3424m / 11234 ft) in the Italian Alps, sleeping a night in a camp at 3.047 m / 9997 ft. First attempt has been hard and unsuccessful I am afraid but it has been a big learning for him. We still have few days and we hope to accomplish it successfully, time and weather permitting!
