my mother defies all logic

Having become bed bound six months ago my mother defies all logic.

Physically she looks as well as ever..

All the things I was warned about, eg higher risk of constipation, well we used to have to admister Movicol before, has not been required since.

We spent a year before with her getting constant uraniry infections, not one infection in the six months...

I was warned that her organs would slow down, which could cause complications - no evidence so far..

My husband was in bed with the flu over the xmas period, and a couple of the carers were also coming down with flu symptoms, - nothing touches my mother, (she hasn't even had the flu jab),

her body is indistructible, a shame that I can't say the same about her mind...
