In April, my lovely 91 year old mother-in-law, after falling out of bed and hurting her head, was put on end of life care by the hospital, she had other symptoms and it was her time.

MiL was nursed through the final weeks at home, her days were spent drifting in and out of consciousness.

As a family, we were thankful that we could spend time with her.
At the same time, we were aware that MiL, a deeply religious woman, was looking forward to the next stage; she was at peace with herself and her life and we couldn't ask for more.

She passed away at the end of May.
