Could someone explain to me (in easy read) how it will affect the finances re paying bills for our home etc? I cannot envisage having sufficient money to pay them if they take half of our savings off us? We do have savings but nothing huge!!!

and I hope I can give some advice that will help you. Firstly, does your husband have a Social Worker? If not, you need to get one, and if you already have one, you need to ask for a Care Assessment, and a Financial Assessment.
