just had to share my good feeling with you all tonight when i walked into grans room she lifted her hands up to cuddle me and said this is my granddaughter, its so nice to be reminded she knows who i am at times even if it does not always show through, im a very happy lady tonight

Nikita, how wonderful for you. Occasionally my mother call me "her daughter" instead of a sister or friend. and I have a great surge of joy and sorrow, but wouldn't miss it for anything. I realize these moments become more and more infrequent so just ENJOY!
