Today my husband bought my parents down for the first time for months. Dad now has advanced Multi-infarc Dementia and other serious health problems.
For the first time today i sat and wept upstairs not long after they arrived. Dad now just sits there with a vacant look but seems so happy.
He sat there looking so subdued then came out with things flying accross the room and halucinating again. We just went along with him as usual but its so heartbreaking to watch now as we i feel dad is now slipping away from us all.
I had to go upstairs as got very upset.
We took him out in the garden as we have just had it landscaped and he just nodded and asked to come back inside. That broke my heart as dad loved his garden.
Just needed to talk and share with you all today.
