I am new here and trying to find info to help me move my Mother to live near me & her extended family.
Reading a few threads "abuse" & problems inside"system" led me to think you may have pertinent info.
Only recently found out about "safeguarding".
My Mother is self-funding, yet even for the 6 months I kept ringing Social Services & the Mental Health Team about suspected abuse of my Mother no-one mentioned safeguarding.
Mother was lifted by SW Crisis Team & placed in Nursing Home, finally & very poorly.
Problem is perpetrator of suspected & actual abuse visits daily.
Mother is distressed daily after his visit .
