Imagine

Back in 1971, your mother probably enjoyed listening to the radio

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky

Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion, too

Imagine all the people
Living life in peace
After years with dementia
your mother is free to do what she wants
Imagine

Peace and blessings Sweet

My lovely mum passed away today. She was the most wonderful mother and I love her so much. Three and a half years of being on this dementia path with her has ended and she is free and at peace.

It has been such an emotional journey seeing her change from an independent happy go lucky lady. I've been so lucky that she always remained the gentlest person with the sweetest nature, dementia didn't alter that.

At 92 she'shad a lovely life and family and I'm glad she's free of illness now.

I can't thank everone enough on TP for posting all your experiences. It has been an amazing help for me for all the challenges dementia posed when I felt frightened and overwhelmed by it.

Thank you and best wishes to all of you

A sad time for you for sure but wonderful that your Mum kept a hold of so much of her gentle character. Hugs x
