My Dad Is Now In Bed All The Time, He Can Not Walk, He Does Not Know Us At All Now. Its So So Upsetting. I Have To Hold A Beaker To His Mouth To Drink, Its Making Me Cry Just Thinking About It. And Worst Of All I Get Married Next Month And He Will Not Be At My Side. Does It Get Easier For The Family.

Sue,

Although my Dad can still walk most of the time, and recognises me in some fashion though i'm not sure if he knows I am his daughter, I do have to spoon feed him and give him his drinks myself.

I just wanted to empathise with you because I too am getting married in a couple of months and will be very sad that my Dad won't be there.
