yes I know music loved by the patient does stir the deepest memories - I have also noted that old favourite (TV) shows and Films now on DVD and boxed sets also have the same beneficial effect - in fact the spectacular musical shows by Andre Rieu are very powerful memory spurs especially with a discussion between carer and cared...
