my mum went into a home a few weeks ago after living at home with only my brother. The change in her since is amazing. She now smiles alot, looks well and the staff love her.AT home she was drowsy, uninterested in people and looked unhappy. She now has company and all the staff talk to her in a lovely manner. We as a family picked the right home.It is spacious and they can wander to their hearts content. Some we saw were terrible.Patients in small rooms etc. This one is marvellous. We did all her room out.Cuckoo clock and rocking chair, pictures of the family etc.It is sad she has alziemers but she is receiveing quality of care at last in a lovely enviroment. The home is called Home Covert in Doncaster.

Dear Naomi, so very pleased that you found such a lovely home for your Mum. She obviously is happy there. This will make it so much easier for you all, if she is happy you can visit without feeling guilty etc. which is so often the case. Being able to add the personal touch helps a lot to make anyone feel at home, regardless of their illnesss or whatever. You have done well, all of you. Love, She. XX
