Mum hss now been put on haloperidol oy her GP on a short term basis to see if this will help with her pacing about and lack of sleep. GP has also referred her back to the memory consultant as she HAD been discharged.

Hi Parmit,

Good news that the doctor has referred your mum back to the memory clinic. All too often people are discharged before they should be.

I agree that the use of haloperidol should be short term only, and hope that your mum benefits from it.
