My darling mum passed away during the night, after a sudden change in her condition. We were called at midnight and just 3 hours later she died.

Although we have known for some time that she was in a gentle decline, the doctor had been the same day and said he thought she still had a couple of weeks or so to go (she had stopped eating a few days ago).

I haven't posted very often on here, but I have drawn great comfort from reading about other peoples experiences.Just a few words have often made a difference especially realising that I was not alone in facing demantia. So thank you to everyone who posts on here and especially those who have answered my occasional postings x
