I have now contacted my MP about this situation and sent my statement to her.I have spoken about doing it in the past but have been too upset to even do so.

I keep remembering my mother the night she sustained shock. You can see from my post in June 2010 that I wrote on Talking Point very late in the night on that date. This was 10 days before she died.Surely she should have qualified at least from that date if she was in shock with rectal bleeding?????

I cannot understand how she could have been refused CHC when the GP who saw her in early May thought she should have been in acute care this was some 6 weeks before she died. It was only because it seemed that nothing really could be done for her that she stayed in the home. She never recovered from this decline. I thought the NHS would nurse her.

How can a dying woman not qualify?

They said the care home should have fast tracked her, they did not so the PCT will make no award!!!!!
