My mil suffered ad since 2003 and has very recently passed away. She lived in her own home with a chc care package and had great eol care from gp and district nurses, syringe driver etc. Now at rest and just getting over the funeral. Matters are now trying to concentrate on fil who also has ad severe and in a nursing home. Unsure if he should be told of the passing of his wife. I will leave this to nursing staff and his imca.
I am grateful to all friends and contacts on this forum over the years for excellent help and support. I know time is a great healer, but trying to be strong at this time and dealing with the emptiness, but at least the memories will always be there.
