Today, the first Mothers Day without Mum, is hard, really hard. I lost her in September.

I got through that first mother's day since her death without incident ... I understand that for some it's a non-event, only an excuse for the people selling cards, flowers etc.

Dear Diane

Mothers day 2006 my auntie & I went to see mum in her care home

Took flowers chocs etc but mum was not really 'with us'

Later mum went to hospital then a nursing home

She died on February 11th this year in hospital

And we cannot travel back in time
