@Ereilly62 I am so sorry that you now have a diagnosis of Alzheimer's. This must be so difficult for you because of living on your own.
Although you live on your own do you have any family or friends nearby who might be able to help you now and again, please let us know a bit more about your circumstances.
If you have not already done so please contact your local social services to arrange a needs assessment so that you can get some support. You could also make contact with the 'Make the call' service to see what benefits you may be entitled to.

Anyone who cares for a person with dementia is entitled to an assessment of their needs as a carer. It should identify what your needs are, and work out what type of support would meet your needs.
