My husband first saw the doctor about his memory in January. Within a few weeks, he had a memory test at the surgery and had blood tests shortly after. He was referred for a CT scan, which I think was in March and had his first appointment at the memory clinic in April. He had an appointment with the consultant today and was diagnosed with early dementia. He has been given a prescription and will be called back for a review in three months. All in all, it's been quicker than I thought it would be. We're in South Wales. Hope you hear something soon.
