Does anyone know of another medication apart from memitine for Alziemers?

My mum is very verbally aggressive and I don't think the medication she is on now is really doing very much.

I seem to remember reading another post about this but I can't find it.

The two common meds for Alzheimer's are Memantine and Donepezil.

Hi. There is also Rivastigmine in capsules or skin patch form. My husband was switched to this when Donepezil was no longer tolerated after 3 years. There is also Galantimine. These are usually prescribed for early to moderate stage. Memantine (which my husband is now on) is usually prescribed at severe stage or if there is aggression.
