my mum has been recently diagnosed. She already takes 5 tablets a day for thyroid and blood pressure. My worry is i am not sure she is taking the correct dosage as she cant always remember if she has taken them or not.

I have tried to help her, but she wont let me! Any suggestions:(

    hi izzie

    yes, it's a worry isn't it.

some (?all) pharmacies can dispense medication into sealed containers so mum would just have to open the compartment called eg "tuesday breakfast" and take the medication. There's a clearer explanation of it here:

mum could at least go back and check what she'd taken when it's labelled up like this. doesn't get around her not wanting to accept help or having to remember to take it in the first place though.
