I`d get medical advice.

Trazadone and Diazepam together is a very strong dose. My husband was on Trazadone but his consultant wouldn`t allow anything more and I just had to manage disturbed nights as well as I could. Strong drugs can increase confusion.

I`m no medic so am only passing an opinion. I do have experience of disturbed nights but never considered my husband to be in a vegetative state, just a state of extreme anxiety and confusion.
