Hi to all carers You may recall my wife Mollie being four years into alzheimers she has got very disruptive and demands attention at all times. She also is subject to sundowning. She goes to bed at 6.30 every night and shouts and bangs on the floor until I go up to bed.Not only that she was waking me up at least every half hour to tell me the time. I think a lot of carers out there have got the same problems. About a week ago I was just about out on my feet and went to our medicine cupboard and gave Mollie two pills that I had been taking for a nervous breakdown some years ago they are not on prescription. These pills did the trick I now take Mollie two of these pills up to bed and they calm her down in about twenty minutes. I now get a nights sleep and Mollie is also settled.I cannot give the name of the pills on this thread as it could be seen as advertising and if the adjudicators let it go it could open the gates to commercial advertising and thats one thing we dont want in our haven. I think I would be in order in giving anyone who is in the same position as I was the name of these pills that can be bought freely at the chemist should they send me a private message. I feel that we all need as much help as we can get to deal with this dreadful disease. I did consult my doctor and she said the pills wouldnt do Mollie any harm.I must also point out that I have nothing to gain.and I will abide with what the adjudicators rule
