I registered in Marks and Spencer for their loyalty card called sparks. I was told that I could nominate a charity of my choice from the nine listed which will receive 1 pence from each transaction using the sparks card.
I was amazed
that the Alzheimer's Society was not listed, I mentioned this to the girl in the store and also emailed Marks and Spencer about it and received the following response:
"I am very sorry to hear that you are disappointed with our chosen charities.
Please be advised that we do review our chosen charities using the suggestions our customers make. I believe that the Alzheimer's would be a great choice to be added to our list.
I thank you for putting the Alzheimer's charity forward and I will be sure to feed your suggestion and comments back to our development team"
