Live-in Carer self isolation?

My Mum is in respite at a carehome whilst her live in carer has been on holiday for six weeks in Africa. Obviously the care home is now in lockdown so I am not able to visit her and her carer is coming back soon but I am not sure she should be picking Mum up and taking her home. Does anyone know if the carer ought to be isolating herself to ensure that she is virus free???

Absolutely. I came back from holiday in Tenerife last Friday and that's me just finished my first 7 days self-isolation. I'm about to do another 7. She does need to self-isolate

hi @SunshineSmile
I too would want to protect my parent, and the carer
is your mum able to remain in the respite care home ... if so, I'd have her stay as long as you can definitely 7 days preferably 14
