Thanks everyone for your help, it's easy when you know how , can only do it on laptop , on my phone it is impossible , as for my ipad , that is a work in progress

I have just read the last part of your signature regarding your "phone". I have never tried doing it with a phone if that is what you are using now.

Sorry I confused you Pete R . I tried many many times on my laptop with no joy , so I thought I'd try with my phone as it is very clever ,it can and does make calls from my pocket mostly to the police and has it own mind on things like peoples names but it didn't oblige

Well done. Me and my ipad are just coming to an understanding ,
it still hasn't quite got it that it is meant to do what I want, its getting their though
