I am LGBT but do not agree with my Doctor that I have Cognitive Decline. Considering Dementia is silly I insisted he find a way to remove it from my Medical Records. He did.

I'm surprised your doctor has changed your medical records. I would have thought it better if he had asked to refer you to a neurologist.

I'm sorry you are at odds with your doctor ... at least you know they are listening to you

Whatever issues took you to the doctor, they have to consider all potential causes of symptoms displayed, maybe stress, thyroid problems, vitamin deficiency (the list could go on), at the very least, to rule them out ... so your doctor considering dementia isn't silly as such, it's them being thorough and looking at all possibilities ... any tests the doctor suggests might well rule out a particular cause completely, so worth doing for that reason alone
