It works for me, Maggie. If you can't get it to work, go to the Alzheimer Scotland home page,

http://www.alzscot.org/

Click on Information and Support on the left, click on Publications, and you'll get a printable order form.

Love,

Dear Hazel,

Don't need it yet but have noted the address.

You get to know situations here on TP that are so real and heart rending

Will go to bed thinking about you and John,

Lots of love

Hi Hazel
there may not always be a choice about putting loved ones into care.
Sometimes it may be forced upon us ,as It was with me.
It doesn't make it any easier however.
Thinking about and wishing you well

Norman, love, I wasn't, nor would I suggest that there is always a choice. The decision is in the process of being made for me, and I'm devastated, as I know you were.

The book is not about making decisions, but about coping with the transition and beyond.

Love,

Dear Hazel,

Thanks for this, I am currently waiting to hear about places in a care home for my parents; much as we would like to look after our loved ones ourselves, there just comes a point when we need the professionals - whoever it is who takes the decision. The transition and beyond causes me many sleepless nights.

My thoughts are with you.
