Letrozole (Breast Cancer treatment) and Dementia?

Hi All,

My mother recently had a mastectomy for Stage 1 Breast Cancer, she was given the all clear but as a precaution has been put on Letrezole tablets. She has Alzheimers and Vascular Dementia. Has anyone got any information or advice on whether this will effect her dementia? She is definitely worse post general anesthetic :-(

I would have thought best to ask the medical team caring for her. It is a shame that you have noticed a decline post anaesephetic. .fortunately my dad was ok after his op but then the decline just carried on its steady path as before
