Kate Swaffer is one amazing lady who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's several years ago and is now an inspirational advocate for people with dementia.

She has a lot of stuff on YouTube and her achievements are nothing short of remarkable. She is currently working on her PhD, has worked as a chef and a nurse and was Australian of the Year in 2017 in South Australia. A little of what she mentions are relevant to Australia but they are only minor.

Her approach to her diagnosis makes it worth checking her out, especially for people in the early days for both. PWD and carers as she talks about 'Living with dementia', (leaves out the word 'well').
