Just to say farewell for now

This will be my last post for a while as Alan has his cataract appointment tomorrow and on Wednesday morning we are off on our little adventure.

I think I've thought of everything and I can only hope that we both have something of a good holiday - I'm sure we will.

I will actually miss you all and want to say thank you for the great support you've been to both Alan and me.

We are off in about an hour and Alan is smiling and ready to go. He seems very settled and relaxed these last few days and I just hope he manages to enjoy it - sure he will.
