I lost Mom in april, and I had to just get this out. I understand now. Fully understand. May all our loved ones rest in peace.

From Mom

I know you.
I don't know why.
Your so familiar.
I don't know.
I'm so sorry.

I can hear you,
Its just a warble.
It makes no sense.
It has no meaning.

I speak to you,
But no words flow,
Its a task,
Just to form a word.
No one could ever know.

I sit alone,
And stare in silence,
I see demons,
And sometimes violence.

I'm in fear,
I don't know why.
Sometimes there's smiles,
At times I cry.

Stay the same,
For me each day.
Keep it simple,
Show me the way.

Dont let go,
Hold me tight,
Say my prayers,
With me at night.

When it's time to go,
Let me know your fine.
Just kiss my cheek,
And say goodbye.

Dont cry for me,
Because now I'm fine.
I've shed my body,
Now I've found my mind.

The Sweet North
This is so poignant, straight to the heart.
Thank you for sharing it with us; I hope it has helped you, composing these lines, soothed some of the pain for you.
