Hi, my mum has just been taken to a and e because of a back problem. The hospital is not allowing visitors, are there no exceptions for Alzheimer’s patients?

Hi , no there are no exceptions except for babies and children I think . Hopefully they will keep you informed , the staff seem to take extra care of our PWD at this strange and difficult time .

I understand as I would feel exactly the same but the nursing staff are good , I’m sure they are doing all they can to reassure mum and also to get her seen and treated and out asap. Take care , easier said than done but try not too worry too much .
