Is there a cure for Alzheimer’s?

Sadly Alzheimer’s Disease is a terminal health condition & is fatal. With early diagnosis there are ways to slow it’s progression using a combination of medication, weight bearing physical exercise, regular social engagement, cognitive stimulation activities and a healthy diet. Unfortunately what works well for some patients doesn’t necessarily work as well for others.

There isn't a cure but donepezil slowed dad's Alzheimers down and even brought him back for a while and for this I will always be grateful. Alzheimer's is a horrible thing to have but it has taught me how much I love my dad and family and best of all how to make memories. I will never forget the outings and the things we did together. I will also never forget the wonderful carers and dad's care home.

PS: It also introduced me to the wonderful people here and I discovered an inner strength.
