Is sleeplessness Sundowning?

My OH, Pauline, gets p every morning looking down and tired and tells me she has hardly slept but when I wake in the night she is fast asleep and her bed is hardly disturbed by morning unlike mine when I am restless. So, could she be sundowning or could it be something else?

I really couldn't say. Perhaps Pauline is saying so because she doesn't feel right and she's attributing it to a lack of sleep. Her way of coping with the fact she has dementia. Because I do think people of dementia are aware there is something wrong, and they are doing their best to cope with it.
