Introduction of meals on wheels

Good morning, my mum is in the early stages of dementia and Dad is still fairly well and trying to support her at home. They are in their early 80s. We have insisted with Dads agreement that they trial meals on wheels for two weeks , 4 days a week to take one worry away from them. However my mum is very confused and as the day goes on she gets worried about how the following days food is going to work out, who will pay etc etc. We feel that it will be worth the change but the difficulty for Dad is dealing with mums reaction to the change. Does anybody have any similar experience?

What works well with my mum is ‘it’s free’!!,
Everything is free !!!!!!!!
Just get the bill sent to you?

I am a self confessed technology addict, I own it all!
So in the old days I would have got the memrabel2 to give a verbal voice reminder
’ your free lunch will be arriving at about one o’clock
today’
but these days it is easier to use the Alexa echo show to do it !
I find aids like that useful if you don’t want to nag, especially for things like’
have you taken your medication’?
The problem with the Alexa is you require a broadband connection.
