Hi as you may know I have been married for 38 years and we enjoyed a great marriage until dreaded dementia took it's toll. My wife is now undergoing a 4 week short assessment and is isolated for 2 weeks due to Covid.
My problem is that I feel very guilty and selfish as get very frustrated physically although I do go cycling! So I am trying to excercise but still miss that closeness of cuddles etc. Is this normal or am I behaving oddly? I feel extremely sad that I have to post this but don't have anyone else to turn to.

Yes, its quite normal. My OH is still at home, but cuddles etc went a long time ago. We are living a form of bereavement, you and I, (and many of the other posters on here) even though our spouses are still alive. They are gone, but not gone. Its called anticipatory grief.
