I am writing a feature as part of my Journalism degree about coping with Alzheimer’s and the effects it has not only on the sufferer, but also his/her family and friends. I especially want to focus on funding problems, and families who are struggling to look after an Alzheimer’s sufferer. I have a special interest in Alzheimer’s because my grandma suffered from the disease, and my mother had problems getting her the continuing care/funding.
